The backend segments enable the in-time ramp-up of new products and the efficient production of existing portfolio products. Backend is responsible for the value add from wafer singulation to final testing and shipping of goods to the customers. This includes all needed tasks such as pre-assembly, assembly, singulation, testing and the related functions of process-engineering, planning, quality-management, operations, material management, innovation on efficiency and productivity.

Job Description

* Experience research: You work independently on programming software solutions and like to contribute your own ideas
* Take responsibility: You independently try to find solutions to problems that arise when programming It-tools for material characterizations
* Reliable work: When programming, you are always careful to develop reliable systems and also ensure that the system can be used in the long term through detailed documentation

Your Profile

* Study field: You are currently studying computer science or a comparable field of study
* Experience: You have already gained some experience in the field of software development for databases
* Skills: You have experience in programming databases and are proficient in the common Microsoft Office programs. Particularly desirable would be (initial) experience with the software "Outsystems" or comparable low-code platforms
* Way of working: You are characterized by a careful, structured and reliable way of working
* Availability: You are willing to work 15h-20h per week
* Language skills: You have very good English skills, Germin is a plus

Important information:

* Working part-time: The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
* Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome: You must be enrolled, and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 6 months. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
* You should live close to the site: It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
